Host Staffing are recruiting for a talented Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at a busy and well-regarded fresh food venue in Berkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate chef looking for a better work/life balance whilst still working with quality ingredients in a professional kitchen environment.

The Role

  • You'll be working as part of an established kitchen brigade preparing and delivering high-quality dishes to consistent standards, supporting service, maintaining excellent hygiene standards, and helping ensure smooth day-to-day kitchen operations.
  • The kitchen focuses on quality fresh food, teamwork, consistency, and high operational standards.

Work Schedule

  • 45 hours per week
  • 4 days out of 7 on a rota basis
  • Typical operating hours between 9am - 10pm
  • One-hour break provided each shift
  • Proper staff meals provided during breaks
  • As food is served throughout the day, break times will vary depending on business levels and service

What's on Offer

  • Base Salary: £32,214.55
  • Tronc: circa £6,000 per year
  • 26 days holiday (+ Bank Holiday in lieu)

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie
  • Passion for fresh food and quality service
  • Strong organisation and hygiene standards

  • Good understanding of stock rotation, food safety, and kitchen compliance
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Essential Requirement

Due to the location of the venue, applicants MUST HAVE their own transport (car or motorbike). Unfortunately, candidates relying on public transport will not be considered.
