We are delighted to be partnering with a truly unique and innovative restaurant concept in the heart of Paddington Central in their search for a talented Sous Chef to join their passionate kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a concept that champions British cheese and seasonal produce, creating elevated comfort food with flair including their signature grilled cheese sandwiches and refined cheese-centric plates. The Role: As Sous Chef, you'll support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, bringing energy, precision, and leadership to service. You'll also collaborate with in-house cheesemongers to develop inventive dishes and push the boundaries of what cheese-focused cuisine can be.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Leading service and BOH operations alongside the Head Chef.
  • Ensuring consistent quality and presentation of dishes in line with company standards.
  • Supporting on menu development, costings, supplier relationships, and stock control.
  • Training and developing junior staff.
  • Maintaining food hygiene and safety standards to the highest level.
  • Acting as a cultural ambassador for the business, both internally and externally.
