Host Staffing are proud to be working with a growing, quality-led pub group to recruit a Senior Sous Chef for one of their flagship sites in Chelsea. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and experienced Sous Chef ready to step up into a senior leadership role within a well-backed and expanding business.
The Role
- As Senior Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to oversee the day-to-day running of a busy, fresh-food kitchen.
- You will play a key role in maintaining high standards, driving consistency, and leading the team from the front.
- Supporting the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations.
- Deputising in the Head Chef's absence.
- Leading, training, and motivating a team of chefs.
- Ensuring consistently high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Managing stock control, GP, and ordering.
- Maintaining compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience at Sous or Senior Sous level in a fresh-food, high-volume environment.
- A confident leader with excellent communication skills.
- Passion for quality ingredients and seasonal cooking.
- Organised, reliable, and able to perform under pressure.

The Package
- Salary: £47,500 - £50,000 (inclusive of tronc), depending on experience.
- Bonus: Up to £8,000 per year, paid quarterly.
- 48-hour contract, 5 days over 7 (including evenings and weekends).
