We are recruiting an exceptional Group Head Chef to lead and support a renowned collection of Michelin Bib-awarded Italian restaurants in London. Celebrated for their modern Italian cuisine, these independent restaurants specialise in fresh, innovative pasta dishes and seasonal menus, all crafted with quality and simplicity in mind. With exciting expansion plans on the horizon, this is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in a respected, growing group.
About the Role: As Group Head Chef, you'll oversee kitchen operations across multiple sites, supporting and mentoring Head Chefs while maintaining the highest standards of culinary execution and consistency. You'll ensure systems and procedures are followed across the group—from stock control and rota planning to food safety and kitchen structure. This is a hands-on leadership position, ideal for a Head Chef with experience in high-volume, premium casual environments, particularly those with Michelin Bib or AA Rosette pedigree.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef in high-quality, food-led restaurants
- Strong knowledge and passion for Italian cuisine
- Experience working to Michelin Bib Gourmand or 1 AA Rosette standards
- Confident managing teams of 12+ chefs in busy open-plan kitchens
- Skilled in kitchen management systems: ordering, stock, rota, and labour control
- A natural leader with strong communication, presence, and attention to detail
- Comfortable engaging with guests and delivering open-kitchen theatre
