Role Description
The Event Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Surrey, on-site at events in London and The Home Counties mainly. Responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operational delivery of catered events. This role manages event logistics, including staffing, vendor coordination, equipment, and timelines to ensure seamless execution from setup to breakdown. The Event Operations Manager will work closely with clients, venues and the internal team to confirm requirements, manage changes, and uphold service standards on the day of the event.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Creating and managing event run sheets
- Overseeing inventory and equipment readiness
- Maintaining health and safety compliance
- Resolving operational issues in real time
The role also involves tracking event costs, supporting budget adherence, and contributing to continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
