You have probably watched a football game at some point in your life. Well, if it was a World Cup match, it was likely filmed and produced by the HBS (Host Broadcast Services) team. We are involved in the production of the following events: FIFA World Cup 26, FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027, Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027 Australia.
Experience & Expertise
- 5 years in technical product/program management, preferably in broadcasting or digital media.
- 3 years leading technical teams of 7-8 people, with proven success in delivering business outcomes.
- Experience with cloud production technologies and digital broadcasting workflows.
- Background in broadcast, streaming services, or production companies with a technical focus.
Professional Skills
- Strong project management methodologies (PMO, Prince2, Agile, Scrum).
- Excellent process definition and optimisation capabilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and irregular schedules based on event timing.
Main Activities/Responsibilities
- Manage a dynamic team comprised of 2 full-time professionals and multiple specialised freelancers.
- Foster a culture of excellence and innovation in broadcast technology delivery.
- Mentor team members and develop organisational capabilities for multi-project execution.
- Process Definition & Management (30%)
- Establish robust workflows and processes across the Digital Technologies teams.
- Implement a structured approach to planning and delivering event-time operations.
- Create documentation frameworks and communication protocols that align multiple projects.
- Take hands-on responsibility for key projects, particularly in cloud production solutions.
- Focus primarily on FIFA World Cup 26 (50%), FIFA Women’s World Cup 27 (10%), and Host Broadcast Management Committee initiatives (20%).
- Ensure seamless delivery of cloud-based production platforms for major sporting events.
- Work closely with Workflow and Software Engineering teams to align deliverables.
- Coordinate with production teams to understand requirements and ensure technical alignment.
- Engage with external partners, clients, and vendors to represent HBS’s technical vision.

Position available in either Paris (with greater team presence) or London (with better US time zone alignment).
