We provide world‑class broadcast solutions for some of the world’s biggest sporting events, including the prestigious FIFA World Cup™, ensuring broadcasters worldwide can offer fans a unique and engaging viewing experience.

We’re looking for a Project Manager to work closely with the Project team, ensuring the successful execution of complex projects within agreed scope, budget, and timelines. This role is about facilitating the teams, maintaining strong governance, and ensuring that information, planning, and decision‑making flow clearly across teams and stakeholders.

What you’ll do:

  • Drive projects forward by organising delivery, governance, and planning, not executing operations
  • Ensure project information is clear, structured, accurate, and delivered on time
  • Apply and champion HBS project management methodologies and tools across the full project lifecycle
  • Lead project reviews and operational meetings, ensuring cross‑department alignment
  • Act as a facilitator and coordinator across multi‑skill, international teams
  • Maintain oversight of risks, timelines, dependencies, and budgets, working closely with Finance and the Project Director
  • Ensure high‑quality client‑facing deliverables (plans, progress updates, debriefs, final reports)
  • Own complete and accurate project documentation, from design through post‑event
  • Capture lessons learned to continuously improve quality and efficiency

In addition:

  • Serve as the UK office reference point for project management topics
  • Support portfolio visibility, consistency, and governance across UK projects
  • Onboard and mentor new PMO / Project Management resources
  • Promote best practices, continuous improvement, and alignment with corporate standards

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in broadcast, host broadcast operations, or live events is essential
  • Proven experience in project management methodologies (certification or equivalent experience)
  • Strong, confident communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable working in international, multi‑stakeholder environments
  • Highly organised, structured, and confident managing complexity
  • Experience with budget planning, cost control, and risk management
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint)
  • Willingness to travel internationally, if required

HBS is committed to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace. We welcome applications from all qualified candidates and will provide reasonable adjustments to support candidates with disabilities or specific needs throughout the recruitment process.

We thrive on delivering world‑class broadcast solutions for major international events. We’re always looking for exceptional individuals who demonstrate:

  • Strong Communication Skills – Fluent in English, able to navigate an international environment with clarity and professionalism.
  • Confident & Adaptable Team Players – Thriving in fast‑paced, live event settings, where collaboration is key to success.
  • Technical Excellence & Organisation – Structured, detail‑oriented, and proficient in the tools needed to keep operations seamless.

Due to the high volume of applications, we may not be able to respond individually to every candidate, but we will do our best to get back to you regarding next steps. Thank you for your interest in joining HBS.
