We’re Hiring: Junior Editor (Video) – Helping to d eliver content to global rights-holders and audiences worldwide.
Are you a creative storyteller with a passion for sport?
At HBS, the Junior Editor plays a central role in the Non-Live Production team responsible for creative content for broadcast and digital platforms for Project B.
This position is a supporting role in our editorial team, it requires a high level of attention and autonomy, contributing to the operation of our creative team.
In this role, you will work closely with Senior & Junior Producer, Editors and Media Managers, to deliver high-impact content across multiple formats — from promos to short-form features and highlight clips — aligned with HBS's production standards.
Please note, this role requires a minimum of 3 days a week in the office in Central London and international travel (including long-term trips).
What You'll Do
- Prep a wide range of content including promos, features, highlights & short-form social clips.
- Support on the delivery of creatively engaging edits, designs and templates using Adobe Creative Cloud, including After Effects for motion design and visual treatments.
- Collaborate with producers, editors and designers to ensure top-tier storytelling across platforms
What makes a successful candidate
- 1+ years’ experience in creative editing (sports or documentary preferred)
- Highly organised and ability to operate within a team.
- High understanding of basketball as a sport and its culture.
- Advanced Adobe Creative Cloud skills, especially Premiere Pro & After Effects
- Experience working on international sports events or in multi-camera broadcast environments is a strong advantage.
- Understanding of file-based workflows and remote collaboration tools is beneficial.
- Motivated, committed, and highly reliable under tight deadline
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines
- Available for international travel
