We’re looking for a hardworking, driven, and passionate candidate to join our team and help maintain high quality properties while ensuring guests receive the very best customer service. Here at Host & Stay we are looking for a dedicated and friendly person to drive the company vehicle to transport Housekeepers and Linens to their tasks and properties, with additional housekeeping duties given to help clean and look after our portfolio of properties. Experience is not essential as full training will be provided. You must hold a Full UK Driving Licence and be able to drive manual vehicles. This is a 37.5‑hour contract, working 5 days over 7, including weekends.

Day to day duties:

  • Use the company vehicle to transport Housekeeping Staff and linens to their required locations throughout the North East.
  • Housekeeping duties within our properties.
  • Be flexible to perform ad hoc duties as needed to ensure the smooth running of the organisation and to meet the needs of the business, including but not exclusive (property checks).
  • Review property stock levels and order supplies.
  • Supervise the work of the housekeeping and warehouse team to ensure the high standards we set are maintained.
  • Support the Housekeeping Management with the smooth, efficient, and professional operation of housekeeping on a daily basis.

Housekeeping duties:

  • Thoroughly clean properties between guests, including hoovering, dusting, polishing, tidying, etc.
  • Change linen between guests.
  • Ensure and maintain the presentation of houses for guests and owners.
  • Stock control of household basics/essentials.
  • Report any necessary maintenance issues or replacements.
