The predicted salary is between 10 - 12 £ per hour.

Here at Host and Stay we are always looking for dedicated and friendly people to clean and look after our portfolio of properties, helping our owners maintain their high-quality properties and to ensure our guests receive the very best customer service while staying with us. Experience is not essential as full training will be provided.

We require you to be available on our main changeover days — Mondays, Fridays and Sundays — with weekdays also available.

Contract Types:

It is essential that you drive and have access to your own vehicle, as we travel between properties during our daily work. Travel time is paid for this. The properties are located in Durham and surrounding areas, including Tynemouth, Hexham, Consett and Barnard Castle.

Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly cleaning the properties between guests, including but not exclusive to hoovering, dusting, polishing and tidying.
  • The changing of linen between guests.
  • Ensuring and maintaining the presentation of houses for guests and owners.
  • Stock control of household basics and essentials.
  • Reporting any necessary maintenance issues or replacements.

Requirements:

  • Full driving licence and access to own vehicle (reasonable adjustments will be considered for disability).
  • Good team spirit.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Ideally availability on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays.
