Paint Shop / Valeter Manager 📍 Location: Stirling 💼 Type: Full-Time | Permanent 💷 Salary: Competitive (DOE) Hospo Talent are working on behalf of a long-standing client in the agricultural and plant machinery sector, who are currently seeking an experienced Paint Shop / Valeter Manager to lead their refurbishment and finishing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business with over 40 years of industry experience and a strong reputation for quality and service. About the Role: This is a hands-on management position, where you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the paint shop and valeting team. You’ll lead from the front, ensuring that all machines are refurbished, finished, and presented to the highest standard. You’ll manage staff, workflow, and quality checks, while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient working environment. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee all paint shop and valeting operations * Manage a small team – delegating tasks, monitoring output, and offering support * Carry out hands-on duties when needed – prepping, painting, masking, and detailing * Organise workloads to ensure timely completion of machinery * Maintain stock levels and order supplies as needed * Ensure all work meets high-quality finish standards * Enforce health & safety procedures and keep accurate records * Work collaboratively with sales and service teams to prioritise tasks * Mentor and support junior members of the team What We’re Looking For: * Experience in spray painting, valeting, or similar finishing work * Previous supervisory or team lead experience in a workshop or industrial environment * High attention to detail and a passion for quality workmanship * Strong organisational and time management skills * Ability to manage and motivate a team under pressure * Skilled in using various prepping and paint tools/equipment * Health & safety focused * Full UK driving licence (essential) What’s on Offer: * Competitive salary * Monday to Friday working hours (with some flexibility during busy periods) * Supportive team environment * Company pension scheme * Long-term career opportunity with a respected employer 📩 Interested?
