We are looking for a confident and well-presented individual to join our phlebotomy team. The collection of quality blood samples from patients is a vital stage in many medical investigations. The successful applicants must enjoy working with people and possess good communication skills., We are the specialist centre for major trauma for the North Midlands and North Wales. We have put together a wide range of development packages aimed at ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to fulfil their potential. Our goal is to be a world-class centre of achievement, where patients receive the highest standards of care and the best people come to learn, work and research.

Based at Royal Stoke the successful applicant will be expected to work at the community centres as well as Royal Stoke and County Hospitals You should be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Attention to detail is important along with basic keyboard skills and applicants should enjoy the challenge of working in a fast pace patient environment.

It is a requirement of your role you have access to a car for work purposes which must be suitable for travelling to community phlebotomy clinics and transporting samples back to the hospital It is your responsibility to ensure the vehicle is insured for class 1 business use and the transportation of pathology samples Expense will be paid in accordance with Trust Policy when you use your vehicle for work purposed.
