Hospitality2ay are looking for Temporary School Chefs to join our team and work with several schools across Southeast London. Our bookings range from Nurseries, Primary and Secondary Schools and Higher Education settings and we pride ourselves in delivering a quality service for our candidates and clients alike.
As a School Chef your role can be 5 days working week from 7am to 3pm (may vary) with the potential to go permanent.
Duties as a School Chef will include:
- Following strict guidelines
- Preparing and assisting in the preparation of food (breakfast, breaks and lunch)
- Monitoring and managing supplies
- Supporting the catering team
- Maintaining kitchen and food safety standards
- Complying with Food Safety legislation
Work Experience:
- Previous Catering experience as a Chef preferably within schools/contract catering environment (min 2 years’ working experience)
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Confident working in a busy kitchen
- Food health and safety training
