School Kitchen Porters - London Hospitality2day are looking for Kitchen Porters to join our team and work within several schools in London on a temporary basis. Bookings range from Nurseries, Primary and Secondary Schools and Higher Education settings and we pride ourselves in delivering a quality service for our candidates and clients.
As a Kitchen Porter your role can be working 5 days a week within the times of 7am to 3pm. Shifts are between 4-6 hours long and some roles have the potential to go permanent.
Duties as a Kitchen Porter:
- Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible (washing of pots, pans, surfaces etc.)
- Loading and unloading of food and equipment deliveries
- Keep the storeroom organised
- Dispose waste safely
- Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards
Work Experience:
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter preferably within a school or contract catering environment (min 1 year working experience)
- Confident working in a busy kitchen
- All Food and Health & Safety training Certificates
