We are looking for School Kitchen Assistants to join our team here at Hospitality2day and work across London. Our bookings range from Nurseries, Primary and Secondary Schools and Higher Education settings, and we pride ourselves in delivering a quality service for our candidates and clients alike.
As a School Kitchen Assistant, your role can be 5 days working week from 9am to 3pm (may vary) with the potential to go permanent.
Duties as a School Kitchen Assistant:- Ensuring basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible
- Collecting and washing up pots and pans
- Basic food preparation and cooking in a hygienic manner
- Unloading food and equipment deliveries
- Keeping the storeroom organised
- Disposing waste safely
- Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards
- Previous Catering experience as a Kitchen Assistant preferably within high volume restaurants or contract catering environment (min 6 months' working experience)
- Confident working in a busy kitchen
- Food health and safety training
