Hospitality2day are looking for Kitchen Porters & Kitchen Assistants to work with a number of our clients in the South East London and Kent/Surrey area. You will be working with clients from B&I sites, events, and hospitality catering.

Typically as a Kitchen Porter/Assistant, you will work over a 5 days (Monday-Friday) period, from 7am to 3.30pm with the potential to go permanent.

Duties as a Kitchen Porter/Assistant:

  • Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible including disposing of waste safely.
  • Ensuring all kitchen equipment is cleaned to a high standard.
  • Assisting with food and equipment deliveries.
  • Assisting with basic food preparation.
  • Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards.

Must Have:

  • 1 years' experience (minimum) as a Kitchen Porter/Assistant preferably within high volume restaurants or contract catering environment.
  • Health & Food Safety training.
  • Experience working in teams & ability to communicate effectively.
