We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive HR Co‑ordinator to join the site leadership team at Elis. This is a key HR‑focused role at the heart of the operation, supporting managers and employees across the full people lifecycle and helping to create a positive, well‑run and compliant workplace.
Working closely with the General Manager and leadership team, you will provide hands‑on HR support across the site. Alongside this, you will also complete other administration, helping to keep records up to date and support compliance activity.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a background in HR or people administration who enjoys variety, takes pride in good systems and standards, and brings energy, professionalism and the right attitude — we can train the rest.
Your Mission at Elis
- Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers on site HR queries.
- Co‑ordinate the full employee lifecycle: starters, leavers, role changes, payroll inputs and employee records.
- Support managers with HR processes, ensuring policies are followed fairly and consistently.
- Champion employee wellbeing, engagement and a positive workplace culture.
- Maintain accurate HR data, files and reports in line with GDPR and company standards.
Administration & Process Support
- Provide administrative support for the site.
- Help maintain site documentation, records and reporting for audits and compliance.
- Support H&S meetings, committees and action tracking.
- Promote safe working practices and help embed high standards across the site.
Site Support & Coordination
- Work closely with all departments as the central link for people and process information.
- Support the General Manager with reporting, administration and coordination activities.
- Contribute to site initiatives, communications and continuous improvement.
What will make you stand out?
- Essential: Experience in an HR, People Administration or similar role.
- Strong organisation skills with high attention to detail.
- Professional, confident communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, people‑focused environment.
- High level of integrity and respect for confidentiality.
Desirable (but not essential)
- CIPD qualification (or working towards).
- IOSH or NEBOSH qualification.
