Overview

Head of Business Development, new 4 star branded hotel. £50,000 – £55,000 per annum, quarterly bonus & 10% pension contribution along with staff rate worldwide with the brand.

Reports into Head of Commercial & working alongside a BDM.

150-bedroom hotel opening Spring 2027.

An amazing opportunity to play a pivotal role in the hotel launch and be integral to the opening whilst establishing the hotel within the Birmingham market. 80% focus on accommodation/20% M&E.

Responsibilities

  • Lead business development activities for the opening of the 150-bedroom hotel in Birmingham.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Commercial and a Business Development Manager to establish the brand in the local market.
  • Drive occupancy and revenue growth, focusing primarily on accommodation with some M&E-related initiatives.
  • Develop and execute market entry strategies and partnerships to support the launch.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Experience in business development or sales within the hotel/hospitality sector (preferred).
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to execute go-to-market plans for a new hotel launch.

Benefits
