Our Client is looking for an Assistant Manager to work in one of their friendly award winning destination pubs/restaurant in a quiet village in the Berkhamsted area. This destination pub has lots of history and character, with a lovely outside garden that attracts customers for the high quality food and drink on offer.

As Assistant Manager you will support the General Manager and need to possess an understanding of the day to day running of a similar establishment and have a desire to progress in a dynamic forward thinking company, who is prepared to work hard in a friendly team.

Key responsibilities and qualifications:

  • Able to confidently manage other members of staff in the absence of GM
  • Enthusiastic and ambitious, looking to progress
  • Very well presented
  • Have an understanding of all aspects of pub management
  • Excellent communication skills and very keen
  • Excellent host

As Assistant Manager you will be prepared to work hard in a friendly team and will receive a generous salary + bonus.
