After 4 years of incredible growth, we are seeking an exceptional Business Development Executive to further support our laser focus on the on-premise sector, helping us grow and elevate our brand presence in upscale venues such as super premium bars, private members clubs, fine dining restaurants, and luxury hotels.
Role Overview
As the Prestige Spirits Business Development Executive - On-Premise, you will be responsible for driving the sales growth and visibility of our luxury spirits portfolio within the on-premise channel. This includes developing relationships with key decision-makers, managing joint business plans, and executing targeted business development initiatives aimed at positioning our premium brands in trend leading venues.
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key on-premise accounts.
- Identify new opportunities to introduce and increase the distribution of our luxury spirits portfolio in key target on-premise locations.
- Work closely with owners, managers, and bartenders to ensure compliance, brand representation and premium menu placement.
Brand Promotion & Visibility
- Promote and position our luxury spirits as the preferred choice in key on-premise establishments under the Good, Better, Best principle.
- Develop and execute customised activation plans and events that highlight our brand’s exclusivity and heritage whilst aligning to any agreed JBP’s.
- Organise tastings, masterclasses, and training sessions to educate on-premise staff on our portfolio’s features and cocktail applications.
Sales & Business Growth
- Achieve and exceed sales targets within your assigned region or territory by strategically managing your accounts.
- Monitor and analyse sales trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to adapt and refine sales strategies.
Strategic Partnerships
- Build and strengthen partnerships with key stakeholders in the on-premise sector, such as distributors, event planners, and influential industry figures.
- Leverage these relationships to create cross-promotional opportunities and elevate the brand’s status within the hospitality industry.
Brand Ambassador
- Represent Hospitality Inc at high-profile industry events, trade shows, and exclusive gatherings, showcasing our premium portfolio to an opinion forming audience.
- Act as the primary point of contact for on-premise partners and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure satisfaction and brand loyalty.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management in the luxury spirits, premium beverages, or hospitality industry.
- In-depth knowledge of the on-premise channel, including key trends and customer preferences.
- Strong network within the high-end hospitality sector, with established relationships with trend-leading accounts and national groups.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage decision-makers.
- Passionate about luxury spirits with the ability to educate others about the brands and their unique qualities.
- Results-driven with the ability to work independently and meet/exceed sales targets.
- Flexibility to work in market, and travel as required.
- WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
