Café Manager Exciting New Opening Location: Marylebone, Piccadilly and Central London

Hospitality Hunters is recruiting an experienced and commercially minded Café Manager for an exciting new premium café concept launching in Central London.
Following a series of pop-ups, the business will open its first flagship location: an intimate, beautifully presented café with approximately 30 covers, serving premium food products, speciality coffee and drinks.
This is an opportunity to join the brand at the beginning of its journey, help shape the operation and play an important role in its future growth.
The Role As Café Manager, you will lead the pre-opening and day-to-day operation, including:
Supporting the successful launch of the flagship café
Recruiting, training and motivating a customer-focused team
Delivering excellent hospitality, presentation and service
Managing rotas, labour, stock, ordering and wastage
Monitoring sales, margins and commercial performance
Introducing effective operating procedures and service standards
Supporting pop-ups, events and brand activations
Developing creative ways to increase footfall, spend and repeat business
Working closely with the founders to develop the concept
About You We are looking for someone with:
Management experience within a premium café, coffee shop or quality hospitality venue
Strong knowledge of speciality coffee, drinks and café-style food
Previous experience supporting or leading a new opening
The ability to recruit, train and develop a small team
Good commercial awareness across labour, stock, margins and sales
A creative, entrepreneurial and hands-on management style
High standards and excellent attention to detail
You should be equally comfortable welcoming customers, coaching your team, reviewing the figures and supporting a busy service.
