Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the kitchen.
- Create and innovate seasonal menus, ensuring high-quality, fresh ingredients are used.
- Maintain exceptional food presentation and consistency across all dishes.
- Lead, train, and inspire a dedicated team of chefs and kitchen staff.
- Maintain health and safety standards, ensuring a clean and organized kitchen.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders to maintain adequate stock, minimizing waste.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop the dining experience for our members and guests.
- Ensure high standards of hygiene, food safety, and quality control are consistently met.
- Handle kitchen budgeting and manage food costs efficiently.
Ideal Candidate:

Proven experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef, or in a senior kitchen role within high-end or premium restaurants or clubs.

Excellent culinary skills, with a passion for creating innovative, high-quality dishes.

Strong leadership abilities with experience managing a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Knowledge of kitchen management, inventory control, and food costing.

Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality and consistency.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

A commitment to health and safety standards, cleanliness, and food safety protocols.
Desirable:

Experience in fine dining or golf club environments.

Relevant culinary qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
