An ambitious independent operator in Brighton is looking for a hands-on Multi-Site Head Chef to take control of two busy, quality-led kitchens. Already operating two successful sites with plans to expand to 10 locations, this is a genuine opportunity to step into a role with influence, progression, and long-term growth.

The Role

  • Take full responsibility for two high-performing kitchens
  • Operate a hands-on presence across both sites (either lead/oversee or 50/50 split)
  • Dedicate one structured day per week to admin, planning, and financial control
  • Drive consistency, standards, and kitchen culture across both teams
  • Manage GP, stock control, rotas, recruitment, and training
  • Work closely with ownership on menu development and future site openings

The Candidate

  • Current Head Chef or a strong Senior Sous ready to step up
  • Proven experience in high-volume, quality-focused kitchens
  • Commercially aware with a solid grasp of food cost and labour control
  • A natural leader who can build, motivate, and stabilise teams across multiple sites
  • Hands-on, organised, and confident managing competing priorities

The Package

  • £35,000 basic salary
