As a Cardiographer, you will supporting the outpatient and inpatient diagnostic cardiac service by performing ECGs (adult and paediatric), fitting ambulatory monitoring (BP, Lifecard and Zio-patch) and in Holter tape analysis. What would be my responsibilities as a cardiographer? To perform adult and paediatric ECGs accurately with a high level of quality, ensuring that all patients are treated with compassion and dignity. To perform ECGs in outpatients clinics, departmental and ward environments To recognise normal and abnormal ECG records and report any abnormal findings to the appropriate clinical member of staff. To fit ambulatory monitors, ensuring that clear information is provided to the patient at the time to ensure an optimal recording. To download and store ambulatory monitors onto the appropriate computer programme, ensuring data is stored appropriately. To support the Physiologists in performing their role by assisting in various investigations. General care and maintenance of departmental equipment and work areas. To perform basic life support.
