What You Will Be Working On
- Partner with Product Managers from the earliest stages of development to influence what we build and how we go to market with the latest features.
- Make decisions based on your competitive research, customer interviews, and market opportunities.
- Contribute to decisionâmaking around which features are included in which plans, and help to drive both recurring and transactional revenue.
- Shape product positioning before anything ships, ensuring every feature has a clear market fit, a differentiated narrative, and a compelling reason to exist.
- Develop the endâtoâend storytelling for feature launches across multiple channels, including Town Halls, press releases, social media, podcast appearances, blog posts, inâproduct messaging, and more.
- Collaborate closely with the Growth team to ensure every new feature and campaign contributes to the health of our full funnel: website â free trial â online travel agency (OTA) connection â subscription â onboarding â adoption â retention.
- Analyze early adoption metrics and user behavior to refine messaging, positioning, and placement over time.
- Conduct competitive research to inform product roadmap decisions and identify opportunities for Hospitable to differentiate.
Requirements
- Significant experience in Product Marketing â ideally within a fastâmoving, productâled company, with experience driving recurring and transactional revenue.
- Proven track record of partnering early with Product Managers to shape product strategy, positioning, and pricing before development is complete.
- Experience influencing adoption and lifecycle behavior postâlaunch.
- Comfort working with Growth teams to identify and prioritize opportunities that move key business metrics.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of simplifying complex ideas and rallying crossâfunctional teams behind a unified story.
- Comfortable diving into data to find pockets of demand and growth, and manage campaign results to assess impact, as well as make recommendations as to how these results should shape future actions.
- Special kudos if you are a shortâterm rental host or have been working in a shortâterm rental business.

- The total budget for this role is within US$128,700.00 â US$181,000.00 depending on the cost of living in your location.
- We can hire talent internationally as contractorsâor employees if you are based in the United States, the European Union, or Australia, taking into account payroll taxes to determine your gross compensation.
- For US employees, the gross salary could be anywhere between US$109,395.00 â US$153,850.00.
