About the role

We’re looking for compassionate and flexible Health Care Assistants to join our Children’s Service at ellenor on a flexibank basis, covering maternity leave. You\’ll help provide vital respite care to children with life-limiting conditions and their families across Dartford, Gravesham, Swanley, and Bexley.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

1. Being involved with all aspects of care for patients.
2. Delivering the highest quality holistic patient care including personal care.
3. Assist with meals, feed patients where necessary, and undertake any other duties that are considered to fall within the scope of the health care assistant role.
4. Maintain all relevant documentation to the highest standards in line with mandatory legal requirements, paying particular attention to accuracy using electronic reporting systems (Emis).

Essential requirements of the role include:

• NVQ level 2/3 in Health & Social Care
• Nursery Nurse qualification or equivalent (Desirable)
• Hold a full UK driving licence
