- Salary: £37,463 - £41,635 per annum
- Contract Type: Permanent, full‑time
- Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week

What you’ll be doing
You’ll be responsible for managing our clinical information systems and leading the effective implementation of digital solutions that support patient care across the organisation. Your role will be central to how we use data, electronic patient records and digital platforms to improve quality, safety and efficiency.
Clinical Systems & System Administration
- Manage and support the electronic patient record system (SystmOne) and associated clinical systems.
- Maintain system administration, including user access, permissions and data integrity.
- Work closely with the Caldicott Guardian to ensure appropriate access to clinical information.
- Support investigation of clinical systems incidents and contribute to audit activity.
SystmOne Improvement & Projects
- Lead and deliver the SystmOne Improvement Project from initiation through to completion.
- Assess current and future system needs and translate clinical requirements into practical solutions.
- Chair system development meetings and engage stakeholders across services.
- Provide clear progress reporting, risk management and project documentation.
Training & Change
- Develop and oversee SystmOne induction training and ongoing system training.
- Produce training materials and support effective adoption of system changes.
- Manage organisational change required to embed new functionality and ways of working.
Digital Solutions, Data & Governance
- Champion innovative digital solutions that enhance patient care, safety and user experience.
- Support development of clinical dashboards and reporting for governance and service improvement.
- Advise on digital readiness for initiatives such as electronic prescribing.
- Support information governance and data quality across the organisation.
What we’re looking for
- Degree-level education or equivalent relevant experience.
- Strong working knowledge of SystmOne, ideally within a clinical setting.
- Experience managing electronic patient records and clinical information systems.
- Confident project management skills with experience delivering system or service improvements.
- Strong data analysis, reporting and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience delivering system training.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across clinical and non‑clinical teams.
- A proactive, organised and solutions‑focused approach.
- A personal commitment to the values, aims and ethos of hospice care.
- A project management qualification would be advantageous.
