We are looking for a friendly and reliable Relaxation Volunteer to support and help create a calm, welcoming environment for our relaxation group. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and has an interest in relaxation, mindfulness or gentle wellbeing support.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome participants and help them feel comfortable during sessions.
  • Support the delivery of relaxation activities such as breathing exercises, mindfulness, or seated relaxation.
  • Assist with setting up and tidying the space before and after sessions.
  • Encourage a calm, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Report any concerns or feedback to the appropriate staff member.

Qualifications:

  • Warm, approachable, and patient manner.
  • Good communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Time Commitment:

This group runs on a Tuesday morning, from 11am‑12pm. Volunteers will receive an introduction to the role, will need to complete mandatory training and any relevant guidance needed to support sessions safely and confidently.
