About The Job

Supporting the 12 hospices that form the Independent Collaborative Hospices North East & North Cumbria, this role will strengthen the use of data to demonstrate impact and build partnerships with the ICB, NHS and other key stakeholders. The position, under the direction of the CEOs, will drive improved data collection and consistent reporting to demonstrate the case for fair funding for all hospices in the collaborative.

Responsibilities

  • Support the 12 hospices in regional collaboration across independent adult and children’s hospices and hospice at home partners.
  • Strengthen the use of data to demonstrate impact and partnerships with the ICB, NHS and other stakeholders.
  • Drive improved data collection and consistent reporting to demonstrate fair funding for all hospices.
  • Work with senior hospice leaders to build strong collaboration and advocate for hospice members.
  • Provide the role as an independent contractor, delivering agreed days or hours each month with flexibility to meet deadlines.

  • Track record of system working and collaborative practice, with an understanding of NHS complexities.
  • Practical, values‑led approach, building trust and supporting compassionate care.
  • Commitment to reducing health inequalities and ensuring hospices are equal partners in system change.

We are 12 independent hospices across the North East and North Cumbria ICB footprint, providing a range of services for adults and children, both in‑hospice and at home.
