Barnsley Hospice is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Community & Events Team Manager with leadership skills to motivate a team. We’re looking for someone to develop innovative fundraising opportunities and help make a real difference to people living with a life-limiting illness and those close to them.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Community and Events Team, developing and delivering an ambitious programme of community fundraising activities and events that inspire support across Barnsley and the surrounding area. Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, you will be responsible for delivering income targets through a well-planned programme of community fundraising and events.
You will lead and inspire the team, develop strong relationships with supporters, volunteers and community organisations, and identify new opportunities to grow sustainable income for the hospice. Working collaboratively across the organisation, you will ensure fundraising activities are innovative, well organised and deliver an excellent supporter experience while raising vital funds to support the specialist care Barnsley Hospice provides.
