The Ascott Limited UK Corporate Office is seeking a qualified, experienced, and capable Procurement Manager to join our Procurement team, supporting our properties. Reporting to the Procurement Director, you will be responsible for purchasing goods and services to meet the operational needs of our European lodging sites.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Purchasing goods, materials, components, and services in line with cost, quality, and delivery targets.
  • Identifying, evaluating, and developing strategies with potential suppliers, including negotiating contracts.
  • Creating long-term plans for specific categories of goods and services.
  • Preparing procurement reports and analyzing data for trends.
  • Collaborating with departments to understand and meet procurement needs.
  • Sourcing environmentally friendly products and services.
  • Managing contracts, renewals, and supplier performance.
  • Optimizing inventory levels to reduce costs.
  • Staying informed on market trends, new products, and suppliers.
  • Conducting cost analyses and benchmarking to identify savings opportunities.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution.
  • Assessing tenders and quotations, and preparing documentation for negotiations.

Requirements for success:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, finance, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in hospitality or technical services purchasing.
  • Proven negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English and French at a business level.
  • CIPS certification is a plus.
