Overview

Citadines Holborn-Covent Garden is seeking an experienced and confident Meetings & Events Coordinator to become part of our Team. You will report to the Residence Manager, supporting towards providing our guests with memorable experiences of the city. As our Meetings & Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Maximising conversion rates of the hotel’s meetings and events facilities by offering the best customer experience and maintaining future business, whilst seeking business opportunities overall.
  • Demonstrating exceptional knowledge about the hotel, its facilities, and services in order to maximise revenue through active upselling.
  • Establishing and maintaining good relationships with all stakeholders (e.g. colleagues, clients, contractors, suppliers).
  • Managing the existing client database and actively engaging in the reacquisition of passive customers and acquisition of new business.

To be successful in the role of Meetings & Events Coordinator, we require:

  • Previous experience in events planning, hospitality or administrative support.
  • Excellent guest engagement skills.
  • Ability to bring the guest experience to life throughout the hotel.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate and organise yourself in line with different guest expectations.
  • A good command of English is essential, a second language is advantageous.
