Solicitor (Employer’s Liability and Public Liability)

Location: Manchester

We are looking to recruit a Solicitor to join our ELPL team based in Manchester.

You will be working within a friendly, sociable and incredibly supportive team with additional opportunities for enhancing your business development skills with career progression opportunities. You can enjoy the benefits of working from home with our fantastic agile working arrangements which are complemented by our bright and modern premises in Manchester for your days in the office (currently 2 days a week).

Duties

  • A Personal Injury Solicitor dealing in pre and post litigation EL/PL Cases.
  • Manage between 100-125 files at any one time
  • Working to court deadlines
  • Liaising and Reporting to insurers
  • Ensuring limitations dates are met
  • Witness Statements
  • Letters of Instruction
  • Reviewing medical reports
  • Issuing court proceedings
  • Diary Management
  • Keeping in constant touch with the clients to ensure communication and continuous workflow.
  • Use of in-house case management systems
  • Keeping up to date with regulatory changes
  • Research using internal resources
  • Additional skills would be looked upon more favourably
