Do you thrive on building relationships and making a difference in people’s lives?We are currently recruiting for a Move On Coordinator to join our brand-new LIFE (Living Independently For Everyone) team in North Yorkshire, working across Craven, Selby and Harrogate. This role is 35 hours per week, to be worked Monday to Friday.As a Move On Coordinator for our North Yorkshire LIFE scheme, you will be responsible for assisting people to move on from our supported housing service, and into independent accommodation, and in turn, helping them to set up and maintain their tenancy. You will also build relationships with social housing providers, letting agencies and private landlords in order to identify appropriate move-on accommodation.

What you will need:

  • Be empathetic and caring, showing understanding and respect to people experiencing difficult circumstances
  • Have excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to network and build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Be resilient and adaptable with the ability to persevere and think of creative solutions
  • An understanding of social housing, and the challenges people may face when trying to secure an independent tenancy

Please note this role requires a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle which can be insured for business use.
