We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Automatic Door Estimator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career within the automatic door industry. Full training will be provided to help the successful candidate gain both technical and commercial knowledge of automatic door systems, products, and estimating procedures.

Working closely with the Sales, Service, and Operations teams, the Trainee Estimator will assist in preparing quotations, reviewing customer requirements, and supporting the delivery of accurate and competitive project estimates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Learn and develop a strong understanding of automatic door products, services, and industry standards.
  • Assist in preparing quotations and cost estimates for automatic door installations.
  • Review customer enquiries, specifications, drawings, and tender documents.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to obtain pricing and technical information.
  • Support the Sales team in producing accurate and timely quotations.
  • Maintain accurate records of quotations, customer correspondence, and project information.
  • Follow up quotations and customer enquiries where required.
  • Assist with procurement and tender submissions when necessary.
  • Develop knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements, including BS EN 16005 standards.
  • Attend site visits, customer meetings, or internal meetings as required.
  • Work closely with the Sales team to support larger project opportunities.
  • Ensure all work is completed professionally and in line with company procedures.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties requested by management.
