SUMMARY
Woodbridge Town Council are seeking an organised and community aware person to undertake the gardening and maintenance of the Council’s wide and varied 20- acre estate.
Under the direction of the Head Gardener, you will become a recognisable and approachable member of the Council’s staff, building relationships with Council’s tenants, community groups and park users.
As part of a small team, you will work towards maintaining the overall appearance of the estate, maintaining high seasonal standards by adopting best horticultural practice and industry standards.
This is a full-time position (37 hours per week), offering a salary of between £29,064 and £31,022 (based on experience) plus entry in the Local Government Pension scheme. The paid Leave entitlement comprises 23 Annual Leave days plus 8 Bank holidays plus 2 statutory days to be taken during the Christmas week.
