They are now seeking a Horticultural Maintenance Technician to join their growing team, maintaining a portfolio of prestigious client sites across London.

Working independently across a variety of premium commercial environments, you will ensure every installation is maintained to the highest possible standard.

The Role

As a Horticultural Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the ongoing care, presentation, and health of a wide range of planted installations, including interior and exterior displays, planters, troughs, and living green walls.

You will play a key role in maintaining the company's reputation for excellence by ensuring every installation looks its best while building strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out scheduled maintenance visits across London in accordance with agreed service schedules.
  • Maintain the health, appearance, and structure of interior and exterior planting displays.
  • Water, prune, feed, clean, and replant as required to ensure plants remain healthy and visually appealing.
  • Diagnose plant health issues and implement appropriate corrective actions, including pest and disease treatments where necessary.
  • Replace plants and carry out minor refresh works to maintain the highest presentation standards.
  • Ensure all installations comply with company quality, horticultural, and health & safety standards.
  • Complete service reports, maintenance records, and photographic updates using company systems.
  • Report plant health concerns, access issues, or client feedback promptly to the Contracts Team.
  • Liaise professionally with clients, providing knowledgeable and friendly customer service.
  • Support installation, de-installation, seasonal works, and deliveries when required.
  • Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles in a clean, safe, and serviceable condition.

About You

The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for horticulture and enjoy working independently while delivering consistently high standards.

  • You Will Have
  • Previous experience in horticultural maintenance, grounds maintenance, interior landscaping, or plant care.
  • Good plant identification and plant care knowledge.
  • The ability to identify common plant health issues, pests, and diseases.
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your daily schedule effectively.
  • A professional and customer-focused approach.
  • Good communication skills and the confidence to liaise with clients on site.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team.
  • A full UK driving licence (desirable not essential).
