A full-time experienced Kitchen Gardener / Grower is sought for the Brocklesby Estate. Production of vegetables in the six acre walled garden with Soil Association Organic status, large glasshouses, cold frames, poly tunnel and compost systems.

Responsibilities

  • Year-round production of vegetable crops
  • Seed sowing and propagation
  • Harvesting and presentation of vegetables to a high standard
  • Seasonal pruning of soft and top fruit
  • Employing no-dig growing, interest in permaculture and biodynamic methods

The candidate must have a genuine interest in growing and producing vegetables in a sustainable and ecological way, attention to detail, tidy and organised, reliable and committed, with physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Reward Package

  • Salary up to £30k dependent on experience
