As the company continues to grow, they are looking to recruit a Skilled Maintenance Gardener to join their dedicated team.
The Role
This is an exciting, hands-on position where you will work closely with the Maintenance Team Leader, maintaining high-end domestic gardens. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive attitude. While industry experience is required, a desire to learn and grow within the company is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- General garden maintenance, including weeding, seasonal pruning, and planting.
- Hedge cutting to a high standard.
- Lawn care, including mowing and border edging.
- Watering and maintaining irrigation systems.
- Installation and repair of irrigation systems.
- Planting of annuals and bulbs to enhance garden aesthetics.
- Assisting the Maintenance Team Leader in ensuring gardens reach their full potential.
- Keeping company vehicles clean, stocked, and reporting any maintenance issues.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Strong horticultural knowledge (a recognised qualification is desirable).
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with a wide range of gardening tools and machinery.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Full UK drivers licence is essential.
