Main duties of the job As a GP in ourpractice, you will be responsible for providing primary medical services to theregistered patients of the practice, both telephone to be agreed. All General Practitioners are expected to participate in continuingprofessional development, annual GP appraisal, Revalidation and appropriatepeer supervision and to remain up to date on professional developments as requiredby their professional body. GPs are actively encouraged to take their studyleave entitlement in order to support the development needs identified in theirPDP and appraisal. Undertake all requirements to remain on the MedicalPerformers List. Ensure that they remain up to date with and implements all relevant goodclinical practice guidance (e.g. NICE guidance). Work in accordance with all relevant clinical pathways and protocols. Active engagement with professional development lead, to promote patientsafety and quality of service. Participation in a range of clinical governance activities, includingclinical audit and such quality improvement activities deemed necessary byexternal accrediting bodies. Ensure that the requirements of the Care Quality Commission arereflected in his/her day to day practice and will maintain and develop thepractices active management of CQC requirements.
