Location: Based in Worthing with hybrid working. Expectation of 2 days minimum in the office.
Contract: 37.5 hours per week. Flexibility needed for working out of hours and during the weekend.

The Fundraising team is small but mighty. We shape and support the raising of funds for Turning Tides, by inspiring compassion for people facing homelessness and aim to engage supporters through powerful storytelling. From supporting and creating fundraising events, engaging with community groups, corporate clients and providing 1:1 stewardship with donors we aim to spread the word of our mission to the wider community, inspiring people to take action in support of those who are impacted by homelessness. This is an exciting time in the Fundraising team as we embark on a review of how we make our supporters and journey one that they value and a part of the work we undertake.
As a Fundraising Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in generating vital unrestricted income through creative campaigns, corporate partnerships, and donor engagement. This is an opportunity to combine relationship-building skills with strategic thinking to make a tangible difference in people’s lives.
In this role you will work closely with all other departments so good communication and interpersonal skills will be needed. Please note that this role has considerable expectation of working at weekends and in the early mornings and evenings. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
About you:
- Experienced Fundraiser with a track record of delivering successful campaigns OR Corporate Sales/Business Development Professionals skilled in negotiation, relationship management, and hitting targets.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- A proactive, creative mindset with commercial awareness.
- Experience in the use of CRM systems such as Donorfy.
- Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships internally and externally.
