We are seeking an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor with a minimum of 7 years PQE to join our reputable legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of commercial property transactions, providing expert legal advice, and ensuring the highest standards of client service. Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating leases, licences, and sale agreements for commercial properties
- Advising clients on property acquisitions, disposals, and development projects
- Conducting due diligence and title investigations to ensure clear ownership and rights
- Managing transactions from inception through to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
- Providing strategic legal advice on planning permissions, planning agreements, and land use matters
- Liaising with clients, agents, surveyors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction processes
- Keeping abreast of changes in property law and relevant regulations to ensure advice remains current and accurate
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years PQE specialising in commercial property law within a recognised legal practice or organisation
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal matters clearly and effectively
- Proficiency in IT systems relevant to legal practice management and document drafting
- Proven experience in managing multiple transactions simultaneously with attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- A proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities
- Membership of the Law Society's Property Law Accreditation or equivalent is desirable but not essential
