Rossdales Veterinary Surgeons is seeking to appoint a Personal/Research Assistant and Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated and professional team working within our Diagnostic Centre, based in Exning. This is a full-time role working 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

  • We are seeking a highly-motivated, focused, well organised individual who understands clinical practice and wishes to further their interest in research and publication.
  • This position involves assisting a Clinical Director who specialises in sport horse lameness, poor performance and surgery.

Qualifications

  • Have previous PA experience, gained within an equine veterinary practice;
  • Be a competent horse handler, capable of providing veterinary technical assistance and support where required;
  • Have experience in veterinary research;
  • Have the ability to remain calm under pressure;
  • Have good teamwork skills;
  • Have competence with IT and/or practice management systems.
