What hours will you be working?

Flexible working hours - from 1 shift / 6 hours a week upwards including evenings and weekends with flexible shifts.

What you’ll be doing as a Front of House Team Member

As a Front of House Team Member, our customers are in your hands. You'll work on the bar and the floor and will be the face of the site and become knowledgeable about all the dishes on our menu and be able to recommend accompanying beverages. Most of all you love to look after people, understand what makes them happy and have the desire to make someone’s day.

Your role will be crucial in ensuring the happiness of our customers, and responsibilities will include:

  • Increasing sales through friendly service and conversation, and recommending dishes and accompanying drinks.
  • Ensuring the cleanliness of tables and seating areas meet our high standards for every customer you greet in both the bar and restaurant areas.
  • Working as part of a team to deliver excellent standards of customer service, ensuring each and every customer receives the best service possible.
  • Attention to detail to ensure you serve the customer with the correct order every time and pay particular attention to allergens.
  • Undertaking continual training to develop your skills and knowledge.

Your Pub

The Horse and Farrier is located right in the middle of Gatley village - you can't miss it! It boasts exceptional cask beer, world lagers and fine wines as well as a large range of spirits. There is a high quality value led food menu which also helps to ensure that the Farrier is a real community hub. There's so much going on here and it's always buzzing - with sport, charity events and so much more to give people a reason to visit.
