Hornsey Housing Trust is a small but ambitious housing association with a 93-year history.

Established by the notable social reformer Margaret Hill CBE, we retain our founding principles to provide good housing for older people on low incomes in Hornsey and the wider Haringey area.

We have a mix of properties across our estate, from early 20th century street property conversions to purpose built sheltered schemes.

We have completed some new build in recent years and have plans for more.

We have developed our property function in recent years, most significantly bringing our repairs function in-house, directly employing operatives to fix our tenants' homes.

Our team also oversees property health & safety compliance and the planning and delivery of long-term investment across our housing stock.

New regulation around safety, decency and energy makes this aspect of our organisation vitally important.

This position is a key part of our senior management team, overseeing asset performance, property compliance services, responsive repairs and planned investment.

Reporting to our Board and our involved tenants will be a regular function of the role.

If you are an experienced property professional, able to balance strategic planning and operational oversight as part of a small but capable team, this could be the role for you.

We are happy to consider any reasonable adjustments that candidates may need during any stage of the recruitment process.

We also offer reasonable adjustments to ensure the effective ongoing participation of newly recruited Board members.

Haringey is a very diverse borough, our tenants, staff and Board are equally diverse and we encourage applications from members of different ethnic and cultural groups and of all protected characteristics.
