About this Role

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and responsible Senior Lunchtime Supervisor to join our friendly primary school team.

The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring that our pupils enjoy a safe, happy and well-organised lunchtime. You will supervise children during lunchtime and play, promote positive behaviour and support pupils to develop respectful and positive relationships with others.

As a senior member of the lunchtime team, you will also help to lead and support other lunchtime supervisors, ensuring that routines and expectations are followed and that the playground and dining areas are safe and welcoming.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a warm, caring and positive approach to working with children.
  • Can communicate confidently and build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
  • Is calm, patient and able to manage behaviour appropriately.
  • Can work effectively as part of a team and provide support and direction to others.
  • Is reliable, organised and able to take responsibility.
  • Is committed to promoting the wellbeing, safety and inclusion of every child.
