Marine Engineer

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Hire Fleet Engineer to combine marine engineering knowledge with high-level customer service. You are responsible for ensuring a fleet of holiday cruisers remains operational, safe, and welcoming for guests throughout the season as part of our the Broom Boats engineering team in Brundall.

Responsibilities

• Servicing & repairing diesel engines, thrusters & hydraulic systems
• Assisting with hire fleet turnaround days, including but not limited to servicing cruisers to ensure a high level of maintenance is kept, assisting in pump outs, re-fuelling and water refills
• To perform on call duties as per the on call rota
• To perform cruiser handovers, including tutorials and trial runs to ensure customers are confident in operating the vessel prior to departure
• Troubleshooting any electrical, plumbing and gas related issues, including generators, inverter systems & installs
• To assist in private work as and when required as part of our BMS team
• Other general yard duties as required

Requirements

Expected

• Experience working in hire fleet operations
• Excellent local knowledge of the Norfolk Broads area
• Ability to turn your hand to most problem solving situations
• A full UK driving licence
• Excellent customer service skills
• Willingness to work weekends &
