Our client is looking for an individual with technical sales experience to join their busy field based sales team.
Responsibilities
- Customer Management
- By priority follow up quotations, further promoting services and experience and enhancing conversion rate.
- Choose the most effective way to service the customer with least cost processing and service in mind.
- Be flexible to handle sales calls, service in house, you may be required to visit site to cover External Design due to high volumes of customer requests.
- Producing Quotation Packs
- By using effective questioning techniques establish customers’ needs in detail.
- Produce quotation packs.
- Produce the written quotations outlining the payment terms and proposal.
- Consider design improvements to provide selling benefits.
- Technical Support
- Liaise with Supply Chain regarding suppliers to ascertain prices and technical information.
- Gain an understanding and technical knowledge of competitors products.
- Liaise with the Installations Team on booking in jobs ensuring all sufficient paperwork is available.
- Work with the Technical Team to ensure smooth installation of large or complex projects.
- Provide technical support including more technical drawings/quotations for Mail Order and Resellers providing training and guidance.
- Reporting & Administration
- Recording proposal information on quotes.
- Follow up of quotations.
- Provide progress report to line manager.
- Continually feedback to Marketing and Merchandising regarding product range and the customer offer.
This position is fully remote with two visits to the Head Office in Slough a month. Your client base will be in the Cambridge area so you will need to be able to travel there regularly.
