We are looking for an experienced self-employed Gas Engineer to join our growing team on a full-time basis.

Position Details:

  • 5 days per week
  • £270 per day
  • Weekly payment
  • Self-employed basis
  • 8:00am start
  • Overtime paid after 4:30pm at the standard hourly rate
  • Fuel contribution provided after the first £50 per week

Requirements:

  • Valid gas qualifications
  • Own van and tools
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Good customer service and communication skills
  • Must be reliable, professional and willing to work later when required due to jobs overrunning or emergency situations

Work will primarily involve:

  • Boiler servicing
  • Boiler repairs
  • Boiler installations
  • Air conditioning installations (air conditioning experience or qualifications are not essential as training can be provided)
  • General heating and plumbing maintenance

The majority of our work is domestic and based within the Thurrock and surrounding Essex areas, offering minimal travel and a consistent workload. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can work independently and is committed to providing excellent customer service.
