Hornby High School is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and skilled teacher who has the ability to work alongside parents, agencies, staff and whānau to support students with complex needs. We are an awesome and progressive school based in the thriving centre of Hornby. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing and supportive community. Person specification
- demonstrated successful experience in working with and including children and young people with learning support needs in the classroom
- a sound knowledge, commitment to, and understanding of the learning support system and the learning
- ability to engage at a school or kura and cluster leadership level
- a current teaching practising certificate and a relevant teaching qualification
The position commences term 4 or earlier by negotiation.
